Queria comunicarles que fuimos con el doctor ayer (January 18th) y el doctor lo vio estable. El tiene "Kdney Renal Failure Stage 4 " y "Congestive Heart Failure", pero en medio de eso lo ve estable. Marisa Barrera
Submitted by: Rev. Rodolfo Barrera | Dearly beloved, as previously mentioned, Marisa got her port put in on Tuesday the 24th. This procedure went without any problems or complications, thank God. The following day she had a LITTLE discomfort but that was expected as the surgeon told her to expect it. On Wednesday the 25th, she had the first chemo treatment. Remember, this was the first in a series of 8. She will be getting them every week. Marisa's Oncologist, Dr. Friedman, is keeping a very close eye on Marisa's treatment and progress. The man is all right. Like the kids say: he is cool. He is German-Jew and he is top notch. Today, I went to my PCP for the regular check up and THANK GOD everything is ok. My next appointment God willing will be in 6 months. My PCP told me: keep doing what you are doing. I said to him, all right !!!!!!!!!! OK as committed to you all, I will keep you posted on everything in this end.
My daughters join me in expressing our gratitude to all of you, especially to those of you in the Duke City, for your continued prayers on Marisa's behalf. Thank you ALL and may God reward your kindness and thoughtfulness with His choicest blessings. As always, Rodolfo Barrera.

Marisa Barrera
Submitted by: Rev. Rodolfo Barrera | Marisa has cancer in a lung and in the liver. The cancer is at stage 4. She will begin chemotherapy treatments as soon as the insurance approves the procedure. She will have a weekly treatment for 8 weeks in a row. At the end of 8 weeks the Oncologist will have her take a CT Scan to see what has happened in her body. Marisa, my daughters and I are in peace, without restlessness, anxiety, fear, or resentment. We will do everything that humanly speaking can be done; the rest we leave it to God's holy will. This note is to wish you a happy holidays and at the same time a request of prayer from you toward Palo Alto UMC.
During this season someone enter into our building and robbed our sound system. By the grace of the LORD, that was our only lost. The insurance only cover 1/3 of our lost. Please pray that the LORD will provide for His church in Palo Alto a way to replace this so needed item, during our worship services.

intensive care at Medical City Hospital, ICU, since Friday. Her blood pressure dropped causing her heart to stop. She has been a dialysis patient for several years due to renal failure. My brother, Jesse R Torrez, Jr., is still doing well with his dialysis especially after the
removal of a kidney several months ago. It is his wife, my sister in law, Pamela D Torrez,
who received notice yesterday that she has an aggressive type of Breast Cancer which has

Les informo que mi esposo estáestable su azúcar y su presión han alcanzado la estabilidad perfecta.
La última noticia de hoy es que acaba de verlo el Dr. y están revisando los últimos examenes para enviar a Nahum a cirugía, han considerado que es necesario ponerle un marcapasos en su corazón, de esa manera podrá llevar una vida mucho mejor.
La mano de nuestro buen Dios no nos ha abandonado y con las oraciones de todos y el amor que sentimos por El alcanzaremos mover la mano del Señor y El hará de acuierdo a su voluntad y su propósito el final de esta dura y díficil situación.
Yo personalmente estoy muy fortalecida en el Señor, veo el semblante de mi esposo muy bueno y le hablo mucho, aunque él no me responde sus ojos me dicen que me entiende.
M encuentro gracias a Dios muy bien acompañada por mi madre y dos de mis hnos eso me brinda mucho apoyo, van a estar conmigo hasta el 15 de Enero y por ese lado estoy contenta, pues así me dedico a estar junto a Nahu en estos momentos.
